Information We Collect

Information you give us

Order details — your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number, and the items you bought.
Account details — your name, email address and password, if you create an account.
Messages — anything you send us through the contact form, including the order number and any photographs you attach.
Marketing preferences — your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter.
Reviews — the name and content you submit with a product review.

We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or CVV. Card details go directly to our payment provider — see our Payment Policy.

Information collected automatically

Device and connection data — your IP address, browser type, operating system and screen size.
Usage data — the pages and products you view, what you search for, what you put in your cart, and the site you arrived from.
Cookies — small files stored by your browser, described below.

How We Use Your Information

To process your order, take payment, and deliver your furniture
To send order confirmations, dispatch notices and delivery updates
To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds and warranty claims
To maintain your account and show you your order history
To detect and prevent fraudulent orders
To improve our range, our website and our delivery service
To send marketing emails, where you have asked to receive them

We rely on your consent for marketing, on the performance of our contract with you for orders and delivery, on our legitimate interests for fraud prevention and improving the site, and on legal obligation for our tax and accounting records.

Checking Promotions and Preventing Fraud

Some of our offers are limited to a first order — the first-order discount is the main one. To apply an offer like that fairly we have to be able to tell whether an order really is somebody's first.

When you place an order we compare four details against previous orders: the email address, the phone number, the WhatsApp number and the delivery address. Phone and WhatsApp numbers are checked against both fields, so the same number is recognised whichever one it was given in. If none of the four matches an earlier order, the order is treated as a first order and the discount is applied.

This check runs against your own order history only. It is not shared with anyone, it is not used to build a profile of you, and it produces no record beyond the orders we already hold. Its only purpose is to stop a first-order discount being claimed repeatedly, which would otherwise be paid for by everybody else.

Cookies

Cookies keep the site working and remember your session. We use them to:

keep you signed in and keep your cart contents between pages
remember your locale and currency
protect forms against cross-site request forgery
understand, in aggregate, which pages and products people use

Cookies needed to sign in, hold a cart and complete checkout cannot be switched off without breaking those features. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will stop you from completing an order.

Who We Share Information With

We share only what is necessary, and only with:

Courier and delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver and call ahead
Payment providers — to process your payment and any refund
Service providers — hosting, email delivery and analytics, acting on our instructions
Authorities — where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

How Long We Keep It

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Contact-form messages are kept while the query is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to it. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

How We Protect It

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed rather than in readable form, and access to order data is limited to the staff who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affected your personal information we would tell you and the relevant authority.

Your Rights

You can ask us to:

give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
correct anything that is wrong or out of date
delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
stop using it for marketing

Most of this you can do yourself from your account settings. For anything else, ask us through our contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request.

Marketing emails

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing stops marketing only — you will still receive the emails we have to send about an order you placed.

Children

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy we will update the page and the "last updated" date at the top of it. Please check back from time to time.
